Florida Man Ditches in the Literal Sense
Guess you could say his life also went down the drain.
Convicted Ohio felon Corey Price attempted to escape from Lee County deputies during a traffic stop this weekend, according to NBC2.
Price was caught driving on a sidewalk without his lights on, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. This resulted in a chase that ended when Price crashed his moped into a drainage ditch near Island Vista Drive.
Officers found drug paraphernalia, methamphetamines, and even a gun inside Price’s backpack. Price, as a convicted felon, does not have the right to own a firearm, said LSCO.
Price was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail. His charges include fleeing and eluding along with drug and gun-related charges.
