Goop Sued Over Exploding Vagina Candle!
We’ve talked about Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop website quite a bit for selling some high end ridiculous items. Well now the website is the target of a $5-million class action lawsuit.
It seems that litigants have taken issue with the “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle. You can see the candle on her site here.
The issue isn’t that it costs $75, but that the candles may “explode.” According to the lawsuit, a customer from the Goop website that bought a candle claims that after lighting the candle for the first time it became ‘engulfed in high flames’, then ‘exploding’ and leaving his room ‘filled with smoke’.
