Here are your Weekend Vibes, what’s happening in Southwest Florida Feb 3-5. If you like to eat and drink, you will be in hog heaven this weekend. There are all kinds of events where food is being celebrated. We are talking everything from pineapples to gumbo to vegan fare. Then there is a Southwest Florida staple…seafood. And we can’t forget, it is officially Feb-brew-ary. There is a craft beer festival on the calendar to kick things off.

The Naples Seafood and Music Festival is this weekend. Get your shrimp on!

Car aficionados have to make their way to Fifth Avenue South in Naples. The street is going to be on fire with all kinds of high-end, hard to find, and unique automobiles. It’s the biggest car show in the area. Scroll down to find out more about all of these.

A reminder that is always a good idea to check the official websites for these events as well as social media. That is where you will find additional info including any changes in times, parking, admission, etc. Sometimes unexpected things happen. One more thing, we get it when it comes to hurricane recovery.  Many businesses in Southwest Florida are still closed and many people still without a place to live. However, more places are opening and more residents are finding relief. If you feel like getting out and about, we have a few ideas here. But then again, if you are still not feeling so great mentally that is OK. We want to offer you some resources so click here to find some that might be of benefit.

  • ArtFest Fort Myers

    ArtFest Fort Myers is one of the most popular, long running art show in the area. It kicks off Friday with an opening party and runs Saturday and Sunday. There are more than 200 artists, kids activities, food music and more.  The event is on Edwards Dr. along Centennial Park in downtown Fort Myers and it’s free.

  • Naples Seafood and Music Festival

    This is at the Italian American Social Club on Airport Pulling Road in Naples. The event opens at 4pm on Friday, 11am on Saturday and Sunday. The party lasts until 10pm Friday and Saturday nights. Enjoy lots of great seafood and all kinds of live music. It’s free, and it’s also pet friendly.

  • Charlotte County Fair

    This is the last weekend to enjoy the Charlotte County Fair. Find all the fun. Enjoy thrilling rides, agriculture, and bad but oh so good fair food. The fair grounds are on El Jobean Road in Port Charlotte.

  • Gumbo Fest

    This annual event takes place at the Shell Factory in North Fort Myers. It’s Sunday from 11-5 and features a variety of gumbo as well as other Cajun inspired food. Live music includes zydeco. The event is free but all proceeds go towards fixing the Nature Center which got hit hard by Hurricane Ian. The Shell Factory is on US 41.

  • Fort Myers Veg Fest

    For the plant based folks, this celebrates all things vegetables and plant related. Find vendors, food and lots more at The Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers on US41 and Daniels Parkway. The event is Sunday from 10am-3pm and it’s free.

  • Naples Craft Beer Festival

    If you love beer, this is for you. Sample all kinds of craft beers, have a nosh or two and enjoy live music. The festival is at Bayfront Place and shuttles depart from an offsite parking lot on Goodlette Road. There is no parking onsite. You must purchase tickets online and in advance for this one. No ticket sales are available at the door. Pets are welcomed

  • Downtown Fort Myers Art Walk

    Friday Night from 6-10, this free event is designed to support and promote local artists. First street, downtown Fort Myers, is closed for pedestrian traffic. Galleries that can open, feature different a variety of exhibits.

  • Cars on Fifth

    Car’s on Fifth is part of the Naples Automotive Experience which encompasses several events. However, this is the biggest one. 650 cars are expected along Fifth Avenue South. If you are a car buff, you need to get tickets. You’ll see all kinds of Ferraris, Hypercars, Supercars and everything in between. It’s 10-4 Saturday.

  • Pineapple Day

    The Marco Island Historical Society is celebrating the islands pioneer families and pineapple growing history Saturday from 10am-2pm. Games for the kids, pineapple growing tips for the adults, along with all kids of demo’s, recipes and tasty treats. The Marco Island Historical Museum is on Healthwood Drive.
