A Florida restaurant serves a $1K Steak tableside, in a briefcase!!! Where is this place? Well, no shock here, it’s on South Beach.
Papi Steak, a “clubstaurant”, is owned by David “Papi” Einhorn and partner David Grutman. The high end steakhouse can accommodate up to 10 orders of the wagyu cut steak per night.
According to an article written by Madeleine Marr with the Miami Herald, what you get for your money is more of an experience than a meal. This is the type of meal that is going to end up on social media. Papi Steak is ranked 12th best club/eatery for TikTokers here in the US.
So, what exactly are you getting for your $1,000? The menu at Papi Steak describes the dish as Purebred AA8-9+ Australian Wagyu Tomahawk, a 55 oz. cut, served medium.
In the Miami Herald article, she also goes on to say that the dish is presented tableside, raw, so you can see your cut of meat before it’s cooked. The complete waitstaff joins in on the fun with sparklers, noisemakers, and lights with loud music. The meat is delivered in a temperature controlled box inspired by the movie “Pulp Fiction.”
Check out these Instagram and TikTok posts below from Papi Steak! I’d love to give this a try, but, $1,000 for a steak is a little bit (or a lot) out of my price range.
