Was There More To The Story With The Wendy’s Gun Fight Over Cold Fries?
Was there more to the story with the Wendy’s gun fight over cold fries? It appears so after more information is coming to light.
This week, we talked about a story of a man who fired shots inside a Wendy’s restaurant in Kentucky after he was served cold fries. Nobody wants cold fries, but you can’t do that! Well, it turns out there was more to the story than we knew at the time. Now, some of that is coming to light and this story is even more crazy that we originally believed! Another person is now believed to be in trouble connected to the incident.
Update: Gun Fight At Wendy’s Over Cold Fries
According to The Smoking Gun, an argument over cold fries at a Wendy’s in Kentucky resulted in an exchange of gunfire between a male customer and a female restaurant employee who was shot in the butt. Both of them have been arrested. The male customer has been identified as 25-year-old Monjah James-Wooten who along with 2 associates engaged in a verbal altercation with 26-year-old Wendy’s employee Twaunesha Coleman.
Reports say James-Wooten and his co-defendants entered the Louisville Wendy’s location and showed a gun before firing a shot. Coleman then returned fire which caused even more shots to be fired. Eventually, one of those shots hit Coleman in the rear end. One day later, a second woman contacted police to report that she had been shot and admitted that she was with James-Wooten at the Wendy’s when he shot her, per The Smoking Gun. James-Wooten has since turned himself in and has been charged with felony assault and is now being held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. Coleman is also reportedly facing trouble as she was on probation in connection with a conviction on felony theft and gun charges and wasn’t allowed to legally possess a gun. She has been charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, which is itself a felony. That drama is fresh and never frozen.

Is she even wearing her Wendy’s uniform in her mugshot? That can’t be good for the brand. Management cannot be happy about that happening, as if the rest of it wasn’t bad enough. You never want a mugshot in your work uniform.
