Bad Santa: Florida Man Lands On Naughty List After Fleeing From Traffic Stop
This time of year especially, you want to make sure you’re on your best behavior, but one Florida man dressed as Santa lands on the naughty list after fleeing from a traffic stop.
Now there are plenty of things a bad Santa could do leading up to Christmas. If you haven’t seen the movie starring Billy Bob Thornton, that Bad Santa had drinking, swearing and stealing down. Between his foul mouth, questionable wardrobe choices and total lack of interest in children, Thornton’s Santa is less “Ho Ho Ho” and more “Oh no no.” And those may have been the words on the lips of Florida Highway Patrol when a man dressed as Old Saint Nick took off during a traffic stop on Saturday.

One thing I’ve really been loving this Christmas season are the cars covered in Christmas lights. I don’t know why this year it’s really taken off, but I seem to see at least one of them each night. But not everything you see on the roads in Florida is that wholesome. What started as a festive scene ended with a high speed chase Saturday night in Citrus County. There was a Florida man dressed as Santa riding his motorcycle. But instead of just being out for a leisurely ride spreading joy to those who saw him, WFTV reports that this Bad Santa was weaving in and out of traffic, hitting speeds of 120mph.
Police tried to stop him when he cut through a gas station, but all that did was slow down deputies with the Bad Santa taking off. The man, on his white with blue trim motorcycle, is still on the loose and FHP is asking for your help. If you know something, say something.
