During all celebrations coming up with Christmas and New Year’s, you may indulge in a cocktail or two and to keep you safe AAA is offering free tows this holiday season in Florida.
The holiday season is a lot of fun with so much to do. And I don’t know about you, but my diet goes out the window will all sorts of treats. And cocktails. And between work Christmas parties, Dirty Santa parties, gatherings with friends and family and of course New Year’s Eve celebrations, you may want to indulge. But if you do, be responsible, don’t drink and drive. And AAA is here to keep you safe this season with the return of their Tow to Go program, offering free tows this holiday season in Florida.
Don’t Drink And Drive: AAA Is Offering Free Tows This Holiday Season In Florida
Christmas Eve at 6pm, AAA will start it’s Tow to Go program which runs through 6am on January 2. This is the 25th year of the program, helping impaired drivers get home safely. While AAA recommends planning ahead with a designated driver, we all know that sometimes things fall through and they’re there to help with a win-win of getting you home safely and to keep impaired drivers off the roads.
Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA said in a press release: “If you’re faced with the decision of driving impaired, put down those keys and pick up the phone to call Tow to Go. AAA will then send a truck to take you and your vehicle to a safe location within a 10-mile radius.”
Tows cannot be made in advance, so this service is be used as a last resort, but if you do need a ride with a tow, you can call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO or (855) 286-9246.
