Hallucinating Florida Man Shoots At Imaginary Intruder Then Calls Police
One Freeport, Florida Man hallucinating on spice was not having a good trip and police needed to intervene. As it turns out, the intruder in his home – was him.
Last weekend, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a resident on North Sand Palm Road in Freeport, Florida regarding a possible burglary. The man on the phone thought someone was inside his residence armed with a knife. Scary, right?
When deputies arrived, the caller, Christopher Falkner, 40, exited his garage with a knife. Falkner tossed the knife to the ground when deputies announced themselves. As it turns out – he was the intruder he called about. Hallucinating can make you do some crazy things. But wait, there’s more.
The deputies went inside to clear the home of potential threats where they reportedly found damage from multiple shotgun blasts and empty casings on the floor. Was he trying to shoot the imaginary intruder? Did he think he stopped the intruder and took the knife from him? Was it aliens? A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of three firearms, ammunition, oxycodone, and cocaine.
The investigation found that no intruders entered the home, the report was made as a result of the Falkner ingesting “spice” and hallucinating.
Spice, sometimes also known as K2, Red Dawn, Paradise, Demon, Black Magic, Spike, Mr. Nice Guy, Ninja, Zohai, Dream, Genie, Sence, Smoke, Skunk, Serenity, Yucatan, Fire, Skooby Snax, and Crazy Clown is synthetic marijuana. The stuff can really mess you up.
