Lululemon Is Pulling Their Dreaded “Long Butt” Leggings
Lululemon Says Goodbye To Their Dreaded “Long Butt” Leggings
Apparently, no one wants to look like they have a long butt. Lululemon recently released a new line of leggings and the public has spoken loudly enough that they’ve removed them from their stores. Turns out, people who wear them say it makes them look like they have a long butt, and Lululemon has listened.
Like most products at the company, these came with a heavy price tag, being listed for $98. That’s a lot of money to not have your butt look as nice as you want it to in new pair of tight fitting leggings. According to CNN, the new ‘Breezethrough’ legging line was pulled after backlash and negative comments from customers.
Let’s be honest, if you’re wearing a pair of leggings I assume you want not only comfort, but also to accentuate the curves and highlight the nice behind you have. It would be extremely frustrating to drop almost $100 on a pair of leggings to give you that poppin’ booty only to end up with a long butt look.
Turns out, this pair of leggings has some sort of “V” shape seam on the back that is affecting the way it fits around your glutes, or the way that the stitching is causes some sort of unsightly seam.
Customer Review
A TikTok user named ‘WhatMojoLoves’ gave an honest review that has garnered some traction online. Commenters agree that they’ve experienced the same issues with the new Lululemon ‘Breezethrough’ line. You can check it out below if you’d like more information about what customers have experienced.
All in all, it seems the power of the internet works again. Customer reviews are obviously something a company like Lululemon listens to and it must be difficult to pull a new product. They’ll have to make adjustments if they hope to keep legging users happy with the look of their butts.
