There are many ways to let your voice be heard. You can attend rallies. You can also volunteer for a political organization. Additionally, there’s X (formerly Twitter) where anyone can sound off and share their thoughts. What you can’t do? Throw teenie weenies at someone’s house! Unfortunately, that’s what one Tennessee man did!
According to WVLT, Joseph Weaver, a former Jacksboro Police Department employee, is now facing charges after being accused of stealing cans of Vienna sausages to vandalize the home of Jimmy Snodgrass, who is the city’s Vice Mayor. WVLT reports that Weaver went onto throw these cans of Vienna sausages through at the Vice Mayor’s home, and they went through the front windows. This is wild behavior, especially from a former Police Department employee! You’d think they would know what could and will happen if they go through with this. He reportedly even stole the sausages? Not a great decision!
WVLT reports that Snodgrass woke up to the sound around 11pm and discovered broken windows and cans of Vienna sausages lying around his residence. Law enforcement was able to find video at a local Walmart showing Weaver purchasing 15 cans of Vienna sausages and heading towards the home, per WVLT.
A report obtained by WVLT says, “[The witness] stated that while eating and drinking numerous alcoholic beverages at the Indian River Marina, [Weaver] was agitated about the incident in which he resigned from his employment at the Jacksboro Police Department.” Sounds like it’s another story about a disgruntled employee heard on Dave & Chuck The Freak. Eventually, Weaver did admit to the crime and was charged with vandalism and theft.
