Honestly, what can’t Snoop Dogg do? We know he can rap, he can do TV, movies, and now we see that he’s an excellent broadcaster! Calling a game can be one of the most difficult things in broadcasting. It’s so much harder than what we do on the air every morning! You have to narrate what’s happening while being entertaining and painting an accurate and poetic picture in the audience’s mind. Is anyone better at that than Snoop?

The event happened at The U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Eugene, Oregon. It’s hilarious as Snoop Dogg calls a track race because he gets in his usual verbiage like the shizzles and various -izzles. Everything he says is funny! He’s shocked by what the athletes do, impressed by their feats, and does a good job describing what’s happening.

Honestly, with the Summer Olympics coming up we could use Snoop Dogg in the booth. There are so many sports that could use his humor and skills! I don’t want to watch competitive diving but if Snoop Dogg is on the call then I would watch it! That’s the case for so many of the sports and competitions during the Olympics. Even the Opening Ceremony can be boring, but if you get Snoop out there commenting on all the countries and people it would be gold, Jerry! Gold! NBC should absolutely be considering this if they want to boost ratings this summer. This video shows you why.
