Florida Man Stabs Car Door Repeatedly With Family Inside
Remember back when you’d get upset about something and punch a wall? Yeah, been there. Thankfully, it only took me one good punch for me to learn my lesson. Turns out, it freaking hurts.
Florida man is a different sort of manimal. Police in Key Largo say that a man who was driving by in a black Jeep, stopped next to a car, hopped out and stabbed the passenger side door several times with a fish fileting knife. Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies say 30-year-old Tyler Ploof of Boca Raton is accused of stabbing the vehicle’s door multiple times. The woman in the car frantically asked Ploof why he was attacking the car. His response was “I don’t belong here”. The car was occupied by a woman and her two children at the time of the attack. The vandalism occurred at about 5 pm as the 33-year-old mother and her kids sat in their car in a church parking lot in Key Largo. The victim told investigators that the man approached their vehicle in his black Jeep, jumped out and began to stab the door repeatedly with the filet knife without provocation. Thankfully, no one in the vehicle was injured, but the car suffered about $1,500 in damage to the passenger side door.
Ploof was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon plus damaging proeprty.
