Dessert Restaurant Opens In St. Pete
I’m just gonna say it…YOU’RE NOT READY! When I tell you that an epic dessert bar is now available to you in St. Pete, please understand the weight of my words. There are few things that matter more than dessert. Margot Robbie is one, but she’s not an option.
As of this Friday, downtown St. Pete now has a destination dessert bar, and I truly mean that. It’s worth getting in the car, making the drive, paying for parking and walking through the door. To start, each item is huge…like …post-your-pics-online huge. Featured treats like Key Lime Pie and salted caramel cheesecake are just the tip of the caloric iceberg. The restaurant will rotate various seasonal confections and legendary favorites. Just in time for Halloween, they are currently featuring a ‘Put A Spell On You’ treat, which includes hazelnut ice cream, purple marshmallow drizzle in a Nutella-dipped jar with a brownie and pumpkin cookie dough on top. I mean…WTF?!?!?!
The Yard will also feature a dessert exclusive to St. Pete. It’s called ‘Hurricane Pete’, and it includes coconut and pineapple, bright blue marshmallow drizzle, tons of ice cream and cotton candy. You might wanna bring some friends along for emotional support as you attack this beast.
And now, what we’ve all been contemplating. Prices are just under $20 for a decked-out dessert, including the souvenir glass that holds it all. Many desserts cost less. The Yard was featured on Shark Tank back in 2019 and has experienced monstrous growth since then. The location in downtown St. Pete is close to Stillwaters Tavern and Cassis.
