Florida Woman Stops During Police Chase To Take Selfie
She stopped and waited for the deputy to get out of his patrol car.
Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Department were gathered at a checkpoint on Saturday night, trying to assist residents of the area with hurricane relief efforts. That’s when a Florida woman decided to shake things up a bit. As the deputies worked the checkpoint, a vehicle approached at a high rate of speed, drove right through the stop and continued on. But wait, it gets far more bizarre.
Suddenly, the woman who was driving the car made a u-turn and drove back toward the officers, again moving very quickly. Investigators say 24-year-old Shelby Peters sped through the checkpoint again without stopping, endangering the lives of the deputies. On the return trip, the woman was driving the wrong way down a one way street. After the woman ran through the checkpoint the first time, a deputy jumped in his patrol car and gave chase. During the chase, the deputy reported that Peters drove erratically, changing her speed and swerving in the lane.
Suddenly, Peters stopped her car, seemingly giving up the chase. As the officer approached her vehicle, the woman posed for a selfie as she sat behind the wheel and then sped off. After another short chase, the deputy was able to pull Peters over again and arrest her. Peters was charged with fleeing and eluding, DUI and a curfew violation. A Lee County Sheriff’s Department representative said the woman’s actions showed that she had no respect for the safety of others. Source: WFLA.com

13 Hottest 'Halloween Ends' Looks From The Premiere
Today (October 14) is the theatrical premiere and Peacock streaming premiere of David Gordon Green’s Halloween Ends. After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) faces off for the last time against the masked killer Michael Myers. Four years after her last encounter with Michael Myers, Laurie Strode is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and trying to finish her memoir. Myers hasn’t been seen in a long time, and Laurie finally decides to liberate herself from rage and fear and embrace life. However, when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell) stands accused of murdering a boy that he was babysitting… the story takes a turn.
“Scream queen” Curtis has portrayed Laurie, on and off, for more than four decades now. That’s one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history. Curtis first took on the role of Laurie in 1978 with John Carpenter’s Halloween. When the franchise relaunched under director David Gordon Green in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.
Halloween Ends co-stars returning cast Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as The Shape. Watch the final trailer below:

98.7 The Shark Parties With The Bucs!
Sean Roberts was conceived in the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky by two passionate, panel aligning, third shifters who had grown bored with the same ole same ole. Upon birth, he was placed in the trunk of a new Stingray and sent off to find his destiny.
That destiny included several stints on radio stations across the United States. Some played punk country gospel, while others focused on Croatian death metal played backwards.
After many years and many adventures, Sean wound up on The Shark, where he does shots of tequila while playing the most badass tunes ever created by humankind.
He remains humble, however, never forgetting about the lean years...the street corners and dark alleys where he played songs on his car stereo for food and sex.
He's on top and he's never gonna stop LIVING THE DREAM!
