Cops: Armless Florida Man Stabbed Tourist
According to police, Cesar Coronado came to Florida to soak up some sun and relax during his vacation from his hometown of Chicago. He needed some directions, though. That’s when he says he approached Jonathan Dale Crenshaw, who is a homeless artist from South Beach. Coronado told investigators that he stopped to ask Creshaw for directions. That’s when he says the man attacked him with a pair of scissors that were in his bag. The thing is, Crenshaw doesnt have any arms.
Crenshaw now stands accused of attacking Coronado with a pair of scissors…using his feet. The vicitm was stabbed twice with the scissors, requiring medical treatment for his injuries. Crenshaw was located close to where the attack occurred and charged with aggravated battery. When questioned about the incident, his story differed from Coronado’s. Crenshaw said he was sleeping when Coronado snuck up on him and kicked him in the head. Crenshaw said he was forced to defend himself, so he stabbed the man with the scissors. A witness corroborated the victim’s story, saying the attack seemed to be unprovoked. The suspect is now being held on a $7,500 bond and is awaiting trial. when he made a staement about the incident, the victim said “How the hell did I get stabbed?
