Florida Man Steals Mobility Cart, Takes Date To Bar
A thinking man is constantly trying to figure out new ways to conquer seemingly insurmountable odds, clever plans to overcome adversity and how to achieve their goals despite countless hinderances and obstacles. Today’s Florida man story exemplifies the will and determination of Florida man. It starts with a man who police say wanted to be at a bar with his woman. But it’s not so easy to get to a bar these days. First, there’s the price of automobile ownership. Then, there’s the cost of gas. What’s a brother to do? Florida man found a way to adapt, improvise and overcome. Investigators say security cameras captured 50-year-old Jeffrey Robert Sabiel and 32-year-old Marie Walters removing a motorized shopping cart from a local Walmart and driving it off of the property. It didn’t tkae long for authorities to find the vehicle, however. It had been driven to a local bar and parked outside. Inside, police found the couple. When questioned, the man and woman admitted to removing the cart from the Walmart. The pair was arrested and face charges of grand theft. They were taken to the Pinellas County jail.
