Florida Man Strips, Throws Bricks At Police
It’s been hot in Florida. I mean CRAZY hot. As soon as I get home from work every day, I strip down to my skivvies, hop on my favorite recliner and crank the a/c. That’s why I totally understand what happened in Lee County last week. Police in Fort Myers say a Florida man had a busy Thursday afternoon. The report says 24-year-old Jesus Medina was arrested after he began to throw cinder blocks off the roof of a Mexican restaurant while wearing only his underwear. Deputies with the Lee Conty Sheriff’s Office say the man hurled the blocks at them when they arrived on the scene last Thursday afternoon. A customer of the restaurant who was interviewed by investigators said he talked to Medina earlier in the day, saying the man was upset about an incident that happened at work the same day. The man went on to say that Medina became more irate as the day passed. By the time Deputies arrived, they say the man was already on the roof of the La Mexicana Restaurant, yelling and acting erratically and throwing cinder blocks off of the building. The man was taken into custody without any deputies being injured. The man faces obstruction of justice without violence, aggravated assault on a law enforcement official and criminal mischief charges. Source: NBC-2.com
