Florida Woman Accused of Putting Child in Dryer
Investigators say a Florida woman was arrested and charged with putting a child she was babysitting in a clothes dryer and turning it on. According to Fox 13, the 35-year-old Eustis woman was taking care of the child when they say the incident occurred.
The four-year-old boy told authorities that his caretaker had placed him inside the dryer along with several towels and started the drying cycle. During the interview, the child confirmed that the woman had spun the child in the dryer more than once, saying that she stopped the machine once and turned it on again after a few seconds.
When checked out by medical personnel, multiple bruises on the boy’s face, ears and back were discovered. Child abuse charges may still be brought against the woman.
