Florida Man Calls Police To Have Meth Tested
Only a Florida man would call the police to have his drugs tested after buying them…
Last Thursday, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office got a call around 7pm from a Spring Hill man asking if police could test the meth he just bought because he thought the drugs might really be bath salts.
According to Fox13, the man, Thomas Eugene Colucci, told police that he is experienced in using meth and knew what it should feel like, and because it didn’t, he decided to call 911. When deputies arrived, he gave them two small bags containing a white crystal-like substance.
Now, Colucci is a bit of a hero (in his own mind) because he told police he wanted the drugs tested because he didn’t want other people to buy the “fake” meth and wanted police to “put the person in trouble”, though he wasn’t able them any info on the dealer.
As was asked of them, officers did a test of the substance in the bags and both of them did test positive for methamphetamine.
Colucci was arrested and faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
