Florida TikTok’er Arrested After 100mph Car Chase
Just because you’re a well known TikTok’er doesn’t mean you can get away with anything, and one Florida man found out the hard way when he was arrested after a 100mph car chase.
Land O’ Lakes social media star Damaury Mikula wanted to “do something fun” when he saw a police officer following behind him, so he did a burn out and took off going 100mph through a red light in his Dodge Challenger.
His getaway was short lived, as the officer followed Mikula to his home where he was arrested after he answered the door. Trooper W. Kelly said that Mikula told him “he is young, makes a lot of money, and has a fast car and he can do whatever he wants.”
Clearly not, as Mikula was taken to the police station where he was charged with fleeing/eluding police with disregard of safety to persons or property, reckless driving, and racing on a highway.
Mikula who has a healthy social media following on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram makes anywhere from $400,000-$500,000 a year.
