Florida Lottery Winner Will Splurge On Electric Toothbrush
Everyone dreams of what they would do if they won the lottery, and one Florida lottery winner has quite the splurge in mind.
26 year-old Brian Nelson of Leesburg just won a one million dollar Florida Lottery prize on a $20 instant game called Gold Rush Limited.
Not only did he win the lottery, but he also just got engaged last month.
What he plans to splurge on might surprise you. No, not a vacation, a dream wedding, a new house, or paying off debt.
Upon his visit to Tallahassee where the lottery offices are headquartered, Nelson said, “I’m just looking forward to upgrading to an electric toothbrush and splurging on a good pair of flip flops.”
He’ll be able to buy plenty of both, as he opted to take his winnings as a one lump sum payment of $795,000 (before taxes).
