A Real-Life ‘Squid Game’ Is Set To Begin This Month In South Korea
If you’ve watched ‘Squid Game‘, it’s probably hard to believe, but a real-life version of the game is set to begin this month in South Korea all thanks to the successful Netflix show.
However, this “Squid Game” will be a murder-free competition but the prize will be a very real 5 million won ($4,215 US dollars).
The New York Post reports that the game will be a field day-like event taking place Oct. 24 with games played in the show including tug of war, the paper-flipping game ttakji chigi, the dalgona cookie challenge and red light, green light.
Prior to this week, Bridgerton was the most watched show on Netflix but now with over 111 million viewers globally since it’s premiere on September 17, ‘Squid Game’ has taken over the top spot.
