Gator Attacked Sleeping Florida Woman
I think people often forget that in any of body of water in Florida, gators can be lurking, and one Florida woman found out the hard way when a gator attacked her while she was sleeping.
WFLA reports that a homeless woman in her 50’s decided to take a nap in St. Pete last night on a seawall, but fell into a canal and was attacked by an alligator.
It’s not clear how the woman fought off or escaped the gator, but the St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue Department responded and provided treatment for the woman. They took to her Bayfront Health on a trauma alert.
