Florida Woman Arrested After Trying To Hire A Hitman To Kill Ex’s Wife
The Feds arrested a Florida woman after she tried to hire a hitman to kill her ex’s new wife.
Fox 13 reports that 50-year-old DeAnna Marie Stinson of Tampa made a profile on a site called “The Website” that offered hitman services. On that site, she submitted an order for someone to complete a “quick hit in southern Florida”.
The target was her ex’s new wife, and if one order wasn’t enough, she sent five with the lady’s name, address, picture and over $12,000 in Bitcoin to get the job done, even offering a bonus if done by a certain date.
She was contacted by someone from the site, but little did she know it was an undercover posing as a hitman who recorded a call of her telling him what he wanted, and she even sent an additional $350 to buy a gun.
Stinson now faces charges of soliciting a crime of violence and murder-for-hire.
