Dee Snider Tells Fans Against Vaccine Mandates to Go See Ted Nugent and Kid Rock
Dee Snider, never one to hold back, gave his opinion on fans who are against vaccine mandates and took aim at Ted Nugent and Kid Rock in the process.
In an interview with Heavy Consequence, Snider said, “Your chance of making me sick is an invasion of my privacy, so f— you. If you don’t like it, find your own band. Ted Nugent is out there somewhere. Kid Rock is welcoming you. … You don’t have a right to infect me.”
Kid Rock was forced to cancel some upcoming shows due to “over half the band has f—ing covid (not me).” He also added, “…Before u s— for brains bloggers and media trolls run your mouths, many of them, like me, have been vaccinated.”
Nugent, meanwhile, has long been critical of the coronavirus pandemic, from shutdowns to mask protocols, and tested positive for COVID-19 in April. When he announced his diagnosis, The Nuge said, in part, “Everybody told me that I should not announce this. I have had flu symptoms for the last ten days. I thought I was dying. Just a clusterf—.”
Despite this, Nugent said in a video on his YouTube channel months later that wasn’t going to get the COVID vaccine saying, in part, “I’ve had all my vaccinations. I haven’t had any unauthorized guinea pig test shots, but I’ve had all my vaccinations. I’ve had all my shots that qualify and are vaccinations, but I haven’t had any experimental shots, and I won’t take any experimental shots.” (On August 23, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced they approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, which will now be known as Comirnaty (koe-mir’-na-tee), for people 16 years of age and older.)
Snider touched on Nugent getting COVID saying, “Ted Nugent learned the hard way. Did he not? He said he thought he was gonna die! So, that was his choice. And I’m glad Ted didn’t die. I’m a Ted Nugent fan from the old days. We’ve been friends over the years. He’s gone a little crazy in his old age. I didn’t want to see him die, but I did snicker a little bit when he got sick.”
