Florida Officers Buy Alcohol & Lap Dances During Undercover Operation, Now Under Internal Investigation
Several Tampa, Florida Police Officers are under an internal investigation after they went to Gold Club Ybor City, for lap dances.
Now, you may be thinking, what’s wrong with that? Well, they were there for three hours buying alcohol and lap dances to the tune of $421 while they say their reason for being there was an ‘undercover operation’.
The internal affairs report says officers who went to the strip club each gave different reports as to why they were there when asked, not to mention why they were spending tax payer money. They got a little closer to the dancers, but they walked away with no leads in their ‘operation’.
Fox 13 reports, “The supervisor of the operation, Sgt. Daniel Rhodes, said along with finding drug suspects, the operation was meant to gather intelligence on an Ybor City shooting suspect who had ties to one of the dancers.”
