Lehigh Acres Man Arrested At His Own Wedding
They always say your wedding night is one you’ll never forget…and this one will be unforgettable for more reasons than one.
NBC2 reports that police were called to a disturbance during a wedding ceremony this past weekend in Lehigh Acres, where they say they found the groom, 22 year-old Jeffery Johnson, behaving badly and restrained by wedding guests.
I’m sure you’d be shocked to hear that alcohol was a factor. The official report says that once the cops arrived, the man became angry toward them, and when they tried to get control of the situation, the groom kicked and tried to spit at them.
That’s when Johnson was arrested and charged with two counts of battery on a police officer.
Probably not the wedding night he imagined…
