Courtney Love Gives Approval of Post Malone’s Nirvana Livestream Performance
Some may have reacted negatively to the news of Post Malone performing a Nirvana livestream tribute tomorrow (April 24), but Courtney Love isn’t among that group.
Love took to Instagram to comment on the Post’s upcoming livestream and wrote,”Thank you @postmalone, @who (World Health Organization) and @google who will match $5 million in donations. Thank you beloved @coreresponse and the amazing @nhs. Profound to watch this amazing health care system working = inspiring. Thank you mighty KC [Kurt Cobain] for writing these songs with your elegant and monkeyed hands that the kids still want to sing and play and hear and use to fight and hunt and cure and heal and eradicate this f*cking COVID-19 virus. I approve the usage. Good luck, Mr. Malone.”
Post Malone will go live on his YouTube channel tomorrow at 6 PM ET to perform a Nirvana tribute set from his home. The livestream is part of YouTube “At Home #WithMe” campaign that’s raising funds for The United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for The World Health Organization (WHO.)
