You can still see it in reruns. Several episodes of the long-running TV Show COPS that were shot in Fort Myers back in the late 90’s. Lee County Sheriff John McDougall brought the show to Lee County initially, and during today’s city council meeting, Fort Myers Police Chief Derrick Diggs will propose a return of the show.
