Invasive killer toads from Central and South America have migrated to Florida with sightings from Miami up the east coast to Brevard County, as far north as Jacksonville and as far west as the Panhandle.
The toads were brought to Florida to fight insects in the sugar industry. Instead they started eating native frogs, and other wildlife, but it’s their threat to pets and humans that has wildlife experts concerned
