Fort Myers Miracle Re-Brand as “The Mighty Mussels”
We’ve known them for years as “The Fort Myers Miracle,” but now the Class A Minor League Affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, who play their home games at the Century Link Sports Complex in Lee County will be known as the “Fort Myers Mighty Mussels.”
We knew we wanted to have something that represented the sea life and the lifestyle here,” said Andy Kaufmann, the team’s owner “Just walking along Fort Myers Beach and spotting a mussel, we said, wait a minute, and it all clicked together.”
