Foot and Bicycle Traffic At Florida Middle School Brought To A Halt By A Bear
School officials at Sebring Middle School are telling parents not to allow their children to leave school on foot or by bicycle, after a bear was spotted near the school. A statement from the school was issued on Facebook:
Florida Fish and Wildlife is currently not allowing anyone to leave the campus by foot or bicycle due to a BEAR in the area. If you are across the street you will need to drive onto campus to pick up your child.
As soon as the buses finish, parents will be allowed to drive through the bus loop to pick up students who normally wait at the churches.
