Red Tide Is Back
Local environmental officials are monitoring fish and sea turtle deaths off the Lee County barrier islands, and they believe that red tide is to blame.
There is a large red tide bloom off the coast of Collier County as well, and officials will continue to examine the dead sea creatures to try and figure out definitively why dead sea creatures are washing ashore.
