The ‘Rubber Soul’ Track John Lennon Called His ‘Least Favorite Beatles Song’
Which Was John Lennon’s Least Favorite Beatles Track?
Of all the hit songs that were written by the Beatles, one track in particular stuck out to John Lennon as his least favorite.
Speaking to Rolling Stone in 1970, Lennon revealed that he “always hated” the Rubber Soul classic “Run For Your Life” because he borrowed some of the lyrics from Elvis.
The line, “I’d rather see you dead, little girl, than to be with another man,” was taken from The King’s “Baby Let’s Play House”.
While the late singer later called the song “a sort of throwaway,” he did note that George Harrison was a fan.
