Your sex drought will probably stick around for this long
Has it been awhile since ya got some? Well don’t feel bad, you’re not alone.
According to new research, one in four Americans (28 percent) are currently experiencing a sexual dry spell.
As for the length of their dry spells, the average length of the American ‘dry spell’ begins at around five months without sex.
The average drought has been running for 11 months, with American men dealing with a 10-month gap since their last time. Women are going even longer, lasting almost an entire year without having sex.
The primary cause of dry spells is relationship trouble. Other reasons people were in a dry spell include not being focused on sex (31%), long-distance relationships (25%), and busy work schedules (24%).
Almost one in three people have been hit up online, with 31% saying someone slid into their DM’s. The number almost doubles, with 46% of millennials admitting to trying to score thru DM’s and some people never learn their lesson, as nearly one in five have reached out to an ex in the midst of a dry spell.
