Dave Grohl’s Throne Getting Use Again
We all know and love Dave Grohl’s throne that became a fixture on the Foo Fighters’ 2015 tour after Grohl famously broke his leg after falling off stage during a show in Sweden. Now the throne is getting new use again.
Grohl has lent it to Matthew Ramsey of the country group Old Dominion. Ramsey needed surgery on his leg earlier this year, and the band was forced to postpone some tour dates. However, Old Dominion is back on the road and shared this photo to their Instagram captioned, “Sittin’ but rockin’”
The throne was also used by Axl Rose for a number of shows with Guns N’ Roses after he broke his foot shortly before the kickoff of their “Not In This Lifetime” tour.
Who would’ve thought that Grohl’s stage fall would lead to the creation of this very useful stage prop? And who knows who’s going to need it next?!
