What Happens When you steal your landlord’s car?
Three teens stole a Jeep and took it for a joyride. 14-year-old Athena Debernardo, 15-year-olds Nathan Scott and Destinee Andoro — none old enough to drive! Philippe Allen woke up to find his red Jeep missing from his North Fort Myers home. Kids used a pair of scissors to start the car. They ran out of gas and Philippe tracked them down on the Cape. Philippe knows the youngest teen, Athena, because her mom is renting his house! So is he pressing charges — Yes! He says QUOTE: “They don’t have any respect for me, so I don’t have to respect them.” They’re in jail now for 21 days. All three teens are facing a felony grand theft auto charge. And I’m guessing Athena and her mom are looking for a new place to live.
