Can AC/DC Cure Cancer?
Apparently blasting rock music can help fight cancer, according to a new study.
The University of South Australia found that listening to rock music during chemotherapy maximized the cancer drug delivery by allowing the treatment to evenly coat cancer cells.
Dr. Nico Voelcker chose the song ‘Thunderstruck’ by AC/DC because the title reflected the process of Chemo. And as it turns out, the song “significantly improved the time it took” for the drug to attack the cancer.
The study was published by the American Chemist Society back in 2016.
