VIDEO: Foo Fighters on ‘The Late Late Show’
Foo Fighters closed out the final night of shows in London on CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden with a performance of “Best of You.”

Oddly enough, Dave Grohl sat down with Corden before the performance and recalled the infamous tale of how Taylor Swift performed that Foos hit at a party that Paul McCartney was hosting.
Of course, that semi-awkward moment wasn’t nearly as awkward as when the band allegedly said they thought their experience on “Carpool Karaoke” was “uncomfortable.”
Per The Sun, Corden wasn’t too pleased with the band’s words in the press, but Grohl clarified they were uncomfortable about singing their own songs on the segment and that, “If we were singing Queen songs of Led Zeppelin songs or Beatles songs, it would have been fine. But to sit there and sing your own songs…we felt weird about it.”
Grohl continued, “I don’t drive around Los Angeles singing to my own songs. So when we said it was an uncomfortable experience . . .I felt so bad when it came out in the press — ‘Foo Fighters had a terrible time, they hated the whole f*cking thing’. We didn’t. He’s such a sweet guy.”
Honestly, we can kind of understand where the Foos were coming from. What musician is so vain they drive around and sing-a-long to their own music? Sure…it’s probably happened before, but it can’t be that common.
