Eddie Vedder To Release A Single With Third Man Records
Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder is working to release a limited edition blue-and-red colored vinyl with Jack White‘s Third Man Records.
There is one thing: This is not any ordinary single. The A-side, according to NME, is a recording of ‘All The Way,’ which is Eddie’s 2007 song for the Chicago Cubs. The B-side is a 1984 performance of ‘Go, Cubs, Go.’
The single will be sold with tickets to the July 6th Chicago Cubs game – which is honestly the cool catch. It’s unknown though if every vinyl will have tickets, or just the Chicago area ones.
As far as the band recording any new material, NME notes that Vedder told ‘Kyle Meredith With,’ that the band has been so busy, and needs “a good solid six to eight weeks carved out where we’re just recording all these ideas that we have.”
As of right now, there are no pre-orders listed, and there haven’t been any notes if Vault members will get the first picks, but keep your eyes peeled on ThirdManRecords.com if you’re looking to snag a copy.
