VIDEO: Foo Fighters Cameos From “Yes!” to “Huh?”
With every Foo Fighters gig, we can usually expect some sort of wacky shenanigans or cameo, but the band’s headlining set at Welcome to Rockville festival in Jacksonville, Fla. last night (April 29) certainly ranks up there in regards to random.
First up, Billy Idol, who was on the festival bill earlier, joined the Foos on stage to perform a cover of John Lennon‘s “Gimme Some Truth.” (NSFW language ahead.)
But then it got weird and completely unexpected. Shortly after Idol left the stage, the Foos launched into “You’re The One That I Want” from the musical Grease. Why? BECAUSE JOHN TRAVOLTA WAS WATCHING THE SET JUST OFF STAGE!
According to Billboard, Travolta was in town filming the movie Moose, which is directed and co-written by Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst. (Seriously! Not making this up!)
We can’t even imagine who could show up next on this tour!
