VIDEO: Musicians and Other Entertainers Vow To “Keep The Promise” For Chris Cornell
One of the causes the late Chris Cornell was most passionate about was protecting refugee children, and while he’s no longer with us, plenty of friends in the music and entertainment world are vowing to champion this cause.
Cornell got heavily involved in raising awareness about refugee children when he contributed the track “The Promise” to the film of the same name, which chronicles the Armenian Genocide.
Playing in the background in the video below is that beautiful song with countless people joining the cause, from Cornell’s own children to Soundgarden and Audioslave bandmates Matt Cameron and Tom Morello. Also featured in the video is Ozzy Osbourne, Serj Tankian, Elton John, Christian Bale, Tom Hanks, Josh Brolin, George Clooney and many more.
