A Note For Those Still Mourning Chester Bennington
Many Linkin Park fans are understandably still mourning the loss of Chester Bennington, but his widow, Talinda, is asking fans to stop leaving cards and flowers at the home where he took his own life.
In posts to Twitter, Talina writes, “Please go to Warner Bros. Records as a place for memorial for @ChesterBe. We will have a special memorial for his birthday but we are still trying to figure out the details. Thank you for all of your love and support. Our Family will receive all of your cards and gifts still. And we deeply appreciate them. We have moved into a new home…and the well-meaning fans that still come to the house are disturbing our tenants. We (our family and the band) are deciding on the best place for a permanent memorial. It’s a big decision and your respect and patience is appreciated. We love you all.”
Chester Bennington’s birthday is on March 20, so an announcement regarding the aforementioned memorial should be coming down relatively soon. As always, we’ll keep you posted on all the latest developments.
