ICYMI: Foo Fighters Appearing On ‘SNL’
Foo Fighters will help NBC’s Saturday Night Live close out its 2017 run as the musical guest on the December 16 episode, which will be hosted by actor/comedian Kevin Hart.
The group recently finished the first leg of its North American tour in support of its latest album, Concrete And Gold and will presumably play songs from the album during its two slots. For group founder Dave Grohl it’s a return to the show where he’s also performed with Nirvana, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Paul McCartney and Them Crooked Vultures, as well as performing in skits. Grohl was also the subject of a 2015 petition drive to have him host the show.
The Foos return to the road on January 12 in Fresno, Calif.
