Linkin Park News Round-Up: Tribute Concert Rehearsals, “Carpool Karaoke” Air Date
Linkin Park is getting ready for its October 27 tribute concert for its late singer Chester Bennington, and bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell has documented the preparations.
Farrell posted a photo on Instagram showing he and the other four surviving members of the band in the rehearsal room, with the message “Home from the #dunhilllinks and back to work! Good to be back with the guys.”
The tribute show lineup includes members of Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, System of a Down, blink-182, Yellowcard and Bring Me The Horizon along with Machine Gun Kelly and Kiiara.
Linkin Park’s episode of “Carpool Karaoke,” which was filmed July 14 and delayed after Bennington committed suicide a week later, premieres tonight (October 12).
Linkin Park has not yet revealed its plans for the future without Bennington but did recently cancel Asian dates set for next year.
