Could These Comments From Former Manson Keyboardist Be Any Cattier?!
Not everybody was sorry to see Marilyn Manson injured and having to cancel shows.
Following news that a stage injury in New York on Saturday (September 30) is forcing the shock rocker to cancel nine show son his current North American tour, former keyboardist Madonna Wayne Gacy (real name Stephen Bier), posted a Facebook message — since deleted — saying that, “I hope he suffers” and slamming Manson for using the injury as a publicity stunt.
Bier played with Manson from 1989-2007 and left on bad terms, subsequently filing a lawsuit for unpaid “partnership proceeds;” The suit was reportedly settled out of court. Bier also questioned Manson’s claim of breaking his ankle on stage Friday night (September 29) in Pittsburgh, writing that, “If he had broken his ankle he wouldn’t be walking around like this…I recall the same excuse being used to cancel a Los Angeles show when all it was was a slightly sprained ankle.”
Of the Sunday injury, Bier wrote, “I guess he was close enough for my black magic to work. This is why old wasted people shouldn’t fumble around in the dark.”
Manson is currently recovering from the unspecified injury as he prepares for the release of a new album, Heaven Upside Down on Friday (October 6). Manson plans to resume the tour on October 15 at the Freakers Ball in Grand Prairie, Texas.
