WATCH: Pearl Jam’s Trailer For Concert Film ‘Let’s Play Two’
Pearl Jam has released a trailer for Let’s Play Two, its upcoming concert film from its two 2016 concerts at Chicago’s Wrigley Stadium.
The clip begins with frontman Eddie Vedder, a Chicago native, saying that stepping onto the Wrigley field “is like stepping into Oz,” and features snippets from the actual performances. No release date has been announced for the film, although a section of Pearl Jam’s web site has been dedicated to the project.
The title comes from a quote by Chicago Cubs star Ernie Banks, who frequently said, “It’s a beautiful day for a ballgame. Let’s play two.”
The shows included covers of songs by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, The Who, Neil Young, Cheap Trick and the Ramones. More details are expected soon.
