Corey Taylor Talks Touring & New Material
Stone Sour has been on the road with Korn since last month, previewing material from its new album, “Hydrograd.”
With the set now out as of July 30, frontman Corey Taylor tells us he’s looking forward to incorporating more of the new material into the sets:
“Oh, yeah, absolutely…Some of the stuff is just built for playing on a stage, so we’re definitely going to start working in some newer stuff here and there… there’s a ton of stuff we’re really looking forward to playing.”

The Korn tour will be followed by North American festivals along with overseas plans, and Stone Sour is planning to play this year’s Knotfest events, one already announced for Oct. 28 in Toluca, Mexico, with a U.S. date, again paired with Ozzy Osbourne’s OZZFest, expected to be announced on July 10.
Taylor previously told us that his other band, Slipknot, will not be playing the festivals this year.
