Could There Be A Kurt Cobain Art Tour?
If all goes according to plan we’ll be seeing the late Kurt Cobain‘s art as well as hearing it.
A pair of Cobain’s paintings, including one that was used for the cover of the Nirvana compilation “Incesticide,” will be on exhibit at the Seattle Art Fair, running August 3-6 at the CenturyLink Field Event Center.
It’s the first time they’ve been out of storage since Cobain’s death in 1994.

Meanwhile, United Talent Agency, which represents Cobain’s estate, is considering putting those and more of Cobain’s visual art on tour.
Joshua Roth of the United Talent Agency Fine Arts says the agency hopes to “create a touring exhibition that really tells the story of who Kurt was through his artworks, personal artifacts, and memorabilia, sort of like what the Rolling Stones did in London. There are dozens: several paintings, many drawings, many sculptures.”
Roth did not offer any timetable for a Cobain traveling exhibition, however.
