Texas Taxidermist Goes Viral For Turning Rats Into ‘Sexy Showgirls’

A taxidermist in Texas is going viral for turning rats into "sexy showgirls." They even have little nipple covers and fake eyelashes!

It's good to have a hobby! It can give you something to do and keep you out of trouble or from getting bored. It's also good to develop skills and keep your mind sharp. Some people will turn to painting, some choose woodworking, and this lady seems to have chosen to turn dead rats into sexy showgirls? To each their own, I suppose.

I guess having a strange hobby is better than having no hobby at all. This is definitely a unique way to spend you time, and some might even call it creepy, but it might be a good way to make some money. If you have an original idea you can end up making great money doing something bizarre like this. It sounds a lot like what Steve Carell's character does in Dinner For Schmucks only he does it with mice. Strange? Yes. Adorable? Also yes.

According to Metro, 36-year-old Caitlin Hillis runs a business called Showtime Taxidermy runs a business from her home where she sells quirky and bizarre rats done up as sexy showgirls. She then sells them for 148 Euros each! She's probably getting a lot of profit from it! Caitlin tells Metro, "We watched videos online and we made our first taxidermy together, me, my daughter and my sister, and it was comically bad, but we loved it. We had such a fun time, so we did it again and we made others, and the natural next step was, 'Let's make it sexy and fun and add costumes.'" Okay, it's good to know that she's not taking it too seriously. She finds the humor in it and that makes it better. It would be very strange and odd if she was dead serious about it and was making the rats sexy so she feels sexy or something like that. Hey, you never know!

After sharing pictures of her creations online, there was a demand for the products and people wanted to buy them! That's when Showtime Taxidermy was officially born. Business seems to be booming. She sells the rats online and at Oddities and Curiosities Expos around the United States. Caitlin tells Metro, "When people come up to me they gasp or they clutch their pearls when they see what I have made and they get really excited, I love it so much. It still blows my mind that my artwork is all over the country. I think I've got one in almost every state now. It's a really cool feeling to be weird, to do something different, and to have so many people enjoy it--that's my favorite part, for sure."

Then, Chuck says if he took a pill that was able to grow his dong and hair, he would be the face of it for free! Now, that's a product I could get behind!
